Meet the Manager
Donna Moore,
Heathview Rose Manager
My name is Donna Moore, and I am proud to be the Home Manager of Heathview Rose Care Home in Shirley.
My career in care began in 1998 as a Care Assistant in a local nursing home. By 2012, I had qualified as a Registered Adult Nurse after studying at Birmingham City University. Since then, I have continued to develop my knowledge and skills within elderly care and nursing home management. I also completed a Level 6 qualification in Applied Theory and Practice in Palliative Care, reflecting my passion for ensuring people receive the highest quality care, dignity, and support throughout every stage of life.
Having lived in and around Shirley and Solihull all my life, it is especially meaningful to be working at Heathview Rose Care Home within the community that has shaped me both personally and professionally. I am passionate about creating a welcoming home where residents feel safe, valued, and respected, while building strong relationships with families and the wider local community.
My team and I are committed to making Heathview Rose Care Home a place where residents can enjoy fulfilling lives, maintain their independence, and receive exceptional care tailored to their individual needs.
Outside of work, I have been happily married for 15 years and am a proud mum to five children (yes, five!). Our family also includes a much-loved dog, three cats, and a bearded dragon, so there is never a dull moment at home. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, sewing, watching films, and making the most of the British weather with a good barbecue whenever the sunshine decides to make an appearance.
